Hello, Iā€™m Margarita Pechiwa.

What can you expect working with me?

I have learned that genuineness, authenticity, and transparency with my clients leads to the most healing places. We begin by having you share your struggles and story with me, and then develop a treatment plan together. I combine your strengths and perspectives with my knowledge on a wide variety of evidence-based approaches to develop and begin alleviating some of your symptoms or presenting issues.

What types of client issues do I work with?

I worked primarily with individuals struggling with PTSD/traumatic past experiences, those struggling to manage constant big emotions throughout the day (anxiety, depression grief, anger etc.), and couples/individuals dealing with difficult relationships (romantic or family).

What types of therapy do I use?

The combination of therapies I used with each client are unique. Each person brings something different to session, so using a one- size fits approach will not work. I have training in a wide variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including:

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Dialectical- Behavioural Therapy (DBT)

Narrative Therapy
